Accessibility Liaisons

Accessibility Liaisons are people who represent their work unit, large or small, in a college-wide initiative to promote technology, communications, and classroom materials that are accessible to everyone, but particularly to students, faculty, and staff with disabilities. Accessibility Liaisons:

  • communicate online via a private email list and also meet as a group three times per year,
  • continue to learn about how campus technology, communications, and classroom materials can be made more accessible,
  • collect information from and spread the word within their units about Highline’s Accessibility Policy, federal Title II requirements, and otherwise promote accessibility at Highline College.

The Accessibility Liaison program is under the leadership of Highline’s Accessible Technology Committee.

How can you become an Accessibility Liaison?

Please review the faculty and staff liaison roles for more details on liaison responsibilities. To register as an Accessibility Liaison simply complete the accessibility liaison registration form.
